Mobile Cranes

We offer hire of cranes from 8 tonne right through to 200+ tonne. Our hire cranes are regularly maintained to ensure they are in good working order, and are fully insured and operated by a fully qualified appointed person on all contract lifting projects.

Slinger CPCS

Our Slinger CPCS is the person responsible for attaching and detaching the loads to and from the crane, whilst also providing information on the best choice of lifting gear to be used for the specific loads being moved.

Signaler / Slinger / Banksman CPCS

Our signaler, or slinger / banksman is the person responsible for directing the crane driver either via radio communication or hand signals.

Appointed Person

Our appointed person is a highly experienced and competent individual with many years of industry experience. They are responsible for the planning of the contract lift project. This will incorporate written plans of how the lift will take place, the crane most suitable for the job, as well as instructing the appointed person at the time of the lift too.

Contract Lift Supervisor

Each contract lift project will involve the appointment of a lift supervisor. It is their role to ensure the lifting operation is following the initial plan carried out by the appointed person, and to ensure the safety of the site and anything being lifted.
